What Can NFC Technology Do?

I. An overview of NFC Technology

NFC technology(near field communication technology), is a wireless and short distance communication technology that is growing rapidly and being accepted by the market more and more.

The standard for this technology was established by ISO international Organization for Standardization in 2003.
Great stories happen at key moments, but still, romance is needed. NFC is a green version of RFID, a hardcover version or, as some technology gurus call it, a cracked version. RFID technology can be read over a dozen meters, while NFC cards can be read over a few centimeters.

In fact, it is the same as building a kingdom. Only by building walls and establishing rules and implementing data can a country be settled. Great civilizations also flourish and prosper because of that small wall.

The International Organization for Standardization defines rules for NFC technology — ISO 14443 or ISO 1800-3 — that bind NFC technology to the high frequencies of the radio frequency spectrum, which means that NFC tags, or readers, can read electronic tags at 13.56MHZ, which of course includes RFID tags at 13.56MHZ.

II. NFC Technology Applications

Applications of NFC Technology

The main NFC devices can be classified into two types: passive NFC devices and active NFC devices. The passive NFC device has no power supply to provide power, and if it is really lonely, the only feasible way is to cooperate with the active device and connect the active device.

Active equipment itself is full of positive energy, carrying great mission, the embodiment of justice, on the one hand, he has enough energy to inspire his followers.

That is, it can activate itself to send signals or data to other NFC devices. Of course, it can also switch states and receive data messages from other NFC devices. So can we get such a simple conclusion. A classical NFC system must have an active NFC device, a passive NFC device and a control computer or a system application.

And it is worth mentioning that: Difference from the well-known UHF RFID system must exist RFID electronic tags and readers. The active NFC device can directly establish contact with other active NFC devices and transmit data information by switching the sending state and receiving state.

The most typical example is two smart phones with NFC capability (active NFC devices), which together can transfer data. Of course there are many other applications of NFC, but we don’t have that much time and patience to talk about it here right?
